Nickel Bag Of Funk is a dedicated group of DJ's in San Francisco, selecting the full range of funk to keep dance floors popping. After taking a break from the 2 year party in the Mission, the crew is planning it's return with some new blood behind the decks and new styles of drums added to the mix.
Lovers of funk, Jimmy Love and Duserock started NBF 4 years ago to give people a solid night of fun and funky music. With friends tired of hipsters taking over clubs, the gap was filled with a night you could dress down and hear old school things you know and rare joints you should know.
Gaining some Brooklyn blood, Dj Concerned is moving out to the west coast to join NBF events, bringing years of soul and funk party experience to SF. we are excited to have him on board and excited to get the funk train back on track!
