DJ "Duserock"

DUSEROCK began to establish his name and brand two decades ago as a visual artist. Though visual art was his main form of expression there were other forms fueling the fire. The most powerful being music. Through clubbing in the mid eighties and early raves of the nineties Duserock emerged as an inspired yet fledgling DJ. Back in1992 with weekly residencies in Denver, Colorado, his appreciation and knowledge of countless styles set the pace for a well rounded selector and mixer.
Since 1992, Duserock has played consistently nationally and abroad. He has opened for the likes of Sting and Sheryl Crow. He has played alongside DJ’s Dtek, Swingsett, Photek, Dubtribe, Michael Anthony, Hawke (aka Gavin Hardkiss) and many more.
He currently holds three weekly residencies in San Francisco.
In addition to his interest behind the decks, Duserock brings his musical influence to the dance act Drop Culture. Drop Culture has appeared on recordings for respected dance labels including Om Records, Y4K Distinctive Breaks, Terraform Records, Lo-Rise and Mixed Elements. They have been featured in Time Out NY, Rolling Stone, Spin, Maxim's Blender, Muzik, and BPM (As the 'Record of the Month'). Duserock and Drop Culture have received praise and support from industry giants like John Digweed, Paul van Dyk, Groove Armada and Pete Tong
(using Drop Culture for his Essential Selection).
When not Djing, Duserock can be found doing Graphic Design by day and creating by night. Whether that be honing his skills in the music production realm or futhering the existing visual world that he is reknowned for!
